1xTip is a football information site. Its articles measure how matches have played out: how many goals, corners and cards a league produces, how often favourites win, what happens after a half-time lead, and how home advantage differs from one competition to the next. Each page poses one question and answers it with counted results.
Where the figures come from
Every number in the articles is counted or calculated from public records:
- Match results, shots, corners, cards and closing prices for 18 European leagues from 2021/22 to 2025/26 come from football-data.co.uk, which also supplies results and closing prices for leagues in the Americas, Asia and northern Europe.
- Champions League and Europa League results come from the openfootball project.
- International results and goalscorers come from a public international results dataset published on GitHub (martj42/international_results).
- FA Cup and EFL Cup results come from openfootball’s England files.
- Individual facts such as champions, records and notable matches are checked against published reports before they appear.
Where a page covers fewer seasons or leagues because the data runs out, it says so. Percentages describe past matches, and they don’t promise what will happen next.
The prediction table
Many pages show a table of tips near the top. That table comes from an outside prediction feed and is displayed as the provider publishes it. It is not produced by the analysis in the articles, and 1xTip does not claim it as its own work. The articles are there so that you can judge any tip, including those in the table, against what has happened in past matches.
What we do not do
We don’t guarantee results, sell picks or promise profit. No page on this site describes a bet as certain, safe or fixed. Football is unpredictable, and even the strongest favourites in our data lost one match in six or more.
